The hustle and the noise of the police station are grating on Jared's already raw nerves. Thankfully his wolf is nowhere near the strength to provide him with hyper senses. The smell and the volume would most probably drive him insane. He watches the detective return to his desk and sit down.

"So, the name of the guy that is stalking you is Jensen Ackles. We called his former employer and they told us that he was let go the same day you confronted him." Detective Kane leans back in his chair and taps his fingers on the surface of the desk. "It's hard to do something about his stalking since he hasn't endangered anybody by following you around. The only thing I can do so far is talk to him and warn him about continuing his behaviour. Not much, I'm afraid."

Jared feels ready to explode. "So what you are telling me is that for you to be able to do something, someone has to get hurt?"

"Well not really hurt but there has to be a reason to assume that it is dangerous for you to be in his presence. I'm sorry." And even though he's angry about the inaction of the police, Jared sees that the detective is sorry about being of so little help.

"Thank you." He grounds the words out and gets up from his chair. Jared forces himself to stay calm as he shakes Det. Kanes hand and turns to leave. Even if the police seems to be unable to help him, Jared refuses to let some nutcase turn his life upside down. He's going to make sure that the stalking freak pays for what he's done.

Pushing through the door, Jared leaves the police department, heading for his apartment. He takes out his phone and scrolls down to his brother's number, tapping 'call'. If the police won't help, Jared knows more than enough people who are willing and able to help about the problem.

Once more Jensen finds himself without employment. The morning after his mate had found him in the store men in strange clothes had shown up. One of them, the one who had seemed to be the alpha of the group, and who had been the only one to wear clothes like other humans, had told him that his following Jared around was not to be tolerated.

Samantha had explained to him later on that the word means, that it is not allowed.

Jensen's boss had been contacted and now he finds himself once again without work. If it where not for the paper strips, the money, he needs to pay rent with, he would be happy about the development. It would leave him with more time to watch his mate while being in his wolf form.

As it is though, he has to look for a new job. Samantha promises that she will help with that.

It is good to visit his parents home. After all the excitement and the drama that is his normal day-to-day life these days, it does him a world of good to just let his mum rush around and pamper him, while his dad and his brother come up with interesting and most creative ways of how to get rid of the stalker.

Ever since the visit to the police station Jared hadn't seen the other guy anymore. There have been a couple of times when he thought he saw something, or someone, in the corner of his eye but so far he's never found the creep watching him or following him around again. Maybe the visit to the police did help after all.

"Come on Jared!" Megan is getting more and more excited with every day that it's getting closer to her first transformation. Jared can still remember the rush of adrenalin and the pride at wearing his wolf skin for the first time. Even if he doesn't change all that much these days and prefers his human nature, which is far stronger than the wolf nature in him, he can sympathise with his sister. It is an amazing and breathtaking experience to finally shift into the fur and run under the moon. Nothing can compare to it, because humans don't feel the pull and the song of the moon and nature around them, like animals do.

He smiles at his mum, who is busy preparing everything for the family dinner, and follows Megan outside. This time of the year dusk is starting earlier and earlier, the yard starting to darken at around five in the afternoon. Jared watches Megan skimp over the grass and it makes him remember the annoying bratty little sister she used to be when they had been younger.

He is hunched in the bushes at the back of the house and watches his mate and his sister roaming around the small clearing. Even though it hurts him to be separated from the other, being denied the possibility to watch him like he used to do, the sight of the happiness and the relaxation is more than enough to keep him going until the next time he can catch a glimpse of him again.

He knows that in his human form he can't follow his mate anymore. He tried to a couple of times, but every time he had been found out. He doesn't want to anger his mate any more than he already has. So, he hides and watches from afar at night through his wolf eyes.
