Author’s Note: This storyline stems from my wish to write some kind of horror/thriller plot. Listening to Two Steps From Hell’s Horror and Thriller albums didn’t help any.

He needs to defend. The smell is calling to him. It's tinged with fear.

He needs to run.

Closer and closer. He's almost there. The growling is getting louder. He needs to hurry.

Fight! He needs to protect.

Fight and kill! Keep safe. He needs to make sure that the smell is safe.

Pain and Anger. He bites and claws. He has to win. Another bite and the danger is gone.

The smell is still ripe with fear. He looks and finds the smell. The other looks strange. Not like a wolf.

But the call is still there. Mate! It tpulls and tears at him.

He doesn't understand. No wolf. Wolf. Something is wrong.

Movement. Danger. More fear is in the air.

Something is wrong with the smell. Mate but no wolf. Confusion.

Run. He needs to run to think. To understand.
